USI’s RIO Calculators
I was brought onto the DXD team at the onset of a transformative five-year project aimed at reimagining the entire sales experience.
This initiative shifts our approach from outdated PowerPoint demonstrations to a state-of-the-art sales platform comprised of a series of SaaS applications, equipped with advanced estimators that leverage real-time data for enhanced decision-making. Given the ambitious timeline and the formation of a new team of UX designers, I was tasked with spearheading the development of our Material Design-based design system library.
My responsibilities include:
Leading the U-Tech series of Premium Estimator applications
Designing a new HUB interface
Creating and maintaining our U-Tech Design System
While developing the USI Design System, I leveraged it to effectively to launch 4 RIO Calculators into use with their sales force and eventually to external clients.
It was therefore very important to land on a template quickly and roll the applications out consecutively with the same standards being implemented from the start.
Of course as the applications are built with the components in place, slight tweaks and improvements are expected and easy all the way downstream, from wireframe build with the Figma components, to the Developer team who is using the coinciding repository component.
